NORTHWEST FREERIDE PROGRAMS

Connecting talented young athletes with the opportunity to achieve their dreams or at the very least, ski sick lines and throw cool tricks.  We are not a ski school.  We are not racers.  We are simply freeskiers with professional portfolios, industry connections, and a passion to see our sport progress through the development of the next generation of riders.

What We Do

We work with youth who have the mental and physical abilities to tackle the next level of riding.  These are athletes who feel unchallenged by the typical ski school format, who may want to train competitively, who dream of sponsorships and photo ops, or who simply want to push themselves.  We focus on:

• Backcountry travel and safety

Our Sister Program:  CRYSTAL MOUNTAIN FREERIDE

Northwest Freeride Programs (NWF) focuses on Crystal Mountain in the winter.  We run the Crystal Mountain Freeride Program (CMFP) using the same model and the same vision.  Crystal Mountain is one of the best big mountains in the country.  This venue is ideal for training for big mountain freeride events and exposing riders to the backcountry experience.  

Riders are coached and mentored by professional athletes on some of the best terrain in the country.  Click here to get your jib on and to check out what CMFP has to offer.  It is never too late to join us for a drop-in day throughout the season, even if you're not from Washington.

Cayuse Pass - 2010

NW Freeriders took over Cayuse in May.  We built several jumps including a super gnarly step-down-gap-jump-to-booter.  A few of us also tried out trekkers and skins for the first time.  For more pics, check out our blog.

Our Spring Camp at Chinook Pass - 2009

During the first week of summer, 2009 we  spent 4 days hitting rails and kickers near Mount Rainier on Chinook Pass.
